Silhouette by maskedheart Silhouette by maskedheart
Steady anguish was countered,
underneath contented loneliness,
the balance had been lost,
untying her heart and her soul,
she couldn’t see her simplicity,
albeit had become her own darkness,
watching herself leave each day,
silhouetted by any movement,
a million emotions left behind,
while leaning against a invisible pain,
hoping her other half would stay,
always turning to hold her inside,
as all she lost would calmly lay,
protecting her heart from beyond,
turning the silhouette into a memory,
and banishing the lingering shadow,
that had become her anguished soul

this poem was inspired by my photograph. It was written by apoet001. go to his page, hes amazing.
